Hi, I'm Sam, mum of two living in Brisbane, and now working from home, thanks for stopping by!
Why do I blog? I decided to start my own blog because I realised that it's a great way for me to express myself creatively, as well as connect with other Mums and likeminded people. In the beginning, blogging was a great way of "getting out", whilst the littlies were napping, inspiring me to do more. Now that I'm working from home, I still love to blog, it's just finding the time, but I'm trying to find that work/life balance (if there is such a thing).
What am I interested in? Music, craft, baking, exercising, nature, antique/op shopping, food and wine..oh if only I had time for all of that..most of the time I'm running around after my two munchkins, doing housework, and squeezing some work inbetween.
What do I do? Since being at home, I've managed (just) to keep my sanity by dabbling in a few creative pursuits like cake decorating, crochet and sewing..but at the moment, my business is demanding any spare time I have, and I enjoy every minute of it!
Being a Mum? It's a tough gig, sometimes it's wonderful beyond words, other times, I am totally overwhelmed, but it's all part of the journey, otherwise, what would we blog about?

Won't you come and join this crazy, amazing journey with me? I love meeting new blogging friends and would really love to hear your thoughts, so please drop me a line anytime!

Hello there, just wanted to say hello and that I can relate very much. I've been a mum for almost 15 years now and still can find it totally overwhelming at times. We mums ALL need such strong support from friends and family and we totally need to look after ourselves.
This year all four of mine are at school - hooray! It does feel different. My husband is going t be overseas for long stretches so I need to pace myself, be strong, try to keep calm, and must look after my mental and physical health carefully.
All the best to you.
